SOC Logic Design Engineer

Job Details: Job Description: The Role and Impact: Join Intel as a SoC Logic Design Engineer and play a pivotal role in developing cutting‑edge System‑on‑Chip (SoC) designs that power the future of computing. This role offers you the opportunity to engage in meaningful challenges, work with industry‑leading tools and methodologies, and shape the future of computing solutions.Key Responsibilities:Develop logic designs and register transfer level (RTL) coding for SoC designs.Integrate logic for IP blocks and subsystems into full‑chip SoC or discrete component designs.Define architecture and microarchitecture features for the block being designed.Perform quality checks across RTL, timing, and power convergence aspects.Optimize logic designs to meet power, performance, area, and timing objectives.Review verification plans and implement corrective measures for failing RTL tests.Apply secure development practices to address security threat models and objectives within the design.Collaborate with IP providers to integrate and validate IPs at the SoC level.Drive quality assurance compliance for seamless IP‑SoC handoff.Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or similar programming languages.Strong understanding of System Verilog and Verilog for RTL design.Knowledge of digital design fundamentals and logic design principles.Experience with hardware design and debugging microarchitecture/simulation.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience in UPF coding for power management.Proven expertise in integrating and validating IP components within SoC designs.Knowledge of implementing physical connectivity and testing/verification methodologies.Demonstrated ability to ensure design integrity for physical implementation.This position is based in Fort Collins, Colorado and requires on‑site presence 4 days per week at our office location.Job Type: College GradShift: Shift 1 (United States of America)Primary Location: Virtual USBusiness group: At the Data Center Group (DCG), we're committed to delivering exceptional products and delighting our customers.
