Data Center Operations Coordinator

Location: Onsite 3 days a wk; Hybrid – Office location is Chandler AZ Required Pay Scale: $50-55hr W2 ***Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC or GC candidates*** Summary Looking for Infrastructure Procurement Analyst/Infrastructure-Aware Procurement Operator. Will be responsible for engagement and logistics for hosting and data services for midrange compute; need to be understanding of infrastructure. Knowledge of various servers (windows, linux, unix, aix for example), various IBM or HP hardware, etc) Responsible for: - Validating requirements and processing midrange compute requests. - Procuring servers and integrated rack components through established workflows (e.g., expense management, purchase requests, and purchase orders). - Managing inventory logistics, including tracking, allocation, and availability. - Completion of all engagement and logistics tasks for assigned projects. - Coordinating shipment and delivery of compute hardware to data centers. - Facilitating effective communication and coordination with internal partners, external vendors, and consumers. - Can translate business/technical requirements into procurement actions Required Qualifications - Midrange server hardware and infrastructure experience (2+ years). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong collaboration skills. - Project management experience. - Service request fulfillment experience. - Pro-active work ethic with the ability to work independently as well as with guidance.
