Travel RN - Med/Surg - Wound/Ostomy Care

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Wound Care position requiring at least 3 years of experience, wound care certification, and an AZ or compact RN license.Job Details• Hospital-based Wound Care unit,• Patient population spans all age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics,• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM),• Every other weekend required,• Uses Epic EMR,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Active AZ or compact RN license, currently in hand,• Current BLS certification required,• Wound Care Certification from ABWM or NAWCO required; pending certification may be considered for candidates with exceptionally strong wound care and ostomy skills,• Minimum 3 years of wound care experience required,Additional Information• Functions independently managing consults, wound assessment, staging, and treatment plan recommendations,• Strong documentation skills in Epic are essential to this role,• Expected to serve as a subject matter expert and actively educate staff on wound care practices,• Excellent collaboration skills required given the consult-based nature of the role,• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible,• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,
