Paratransit Dispatcher

Job Description QUALIFICATIONS:Good communication skills; excellent knowledge of the city; must be able to work flexible hours; computer skills required; good attendance record and should have some dispatch and routing knowledge. Bilingual preferred.MAJOR FUNCTIONS:Schedule and dispatch feeder/daily rides to drivers in a timely manner. Monitor driver’s performance relative to trip manifest and radio procedures; document and report unusual situations or deviations from company policy to supervisor.Assist drivers with information including, but not limited to: Routes, passengers, road conditions and address- es.
