This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence. *Responsibilities* * Greet guests warmly as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression * Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management system Toast. * Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and inquiries * Maintain accurate waitlists and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest flow * Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating and guest needs * Ensure cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting area * Assist with guest relations by addressing questions, providing menus, and ensuring overall guest comfort * Support food safety standards by following proper procedures when handling guest information and maintaining hygiene protocols *Experience* * Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred * Strong background in food service and customer service roles demonstrating excellent communication skills * Familiarity with restaurant reservation management system Toast * Basic math skills for managing waitlists, bills, and cash handling if necessary * Experience with POS systems including Toast or Aloha POS enhances efficiency in daily operations * Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously * Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure guest well-being and satisfaction Pay: $13.62 - $14.67 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week Work Location: In person
