Job Description 1170 Apartment Corp, located within Linwood Park Apartments, is a well-established cooperative apartment community situated on 35 beautifully maintained acres in the north end of Fort Lee. We are committed to providing a safe, peaceful, and professionally managed environment for our residents and staff.We are currently seeking a dependable and observant Full-Time Overnight Security Guard to join our team. This is a hands-on position that requires both foot patrol and vehicle patrol throughout the property. The ideal candidate is responsible, professional, and able to remain calm and courteous while handling a variety of situations.Position DetailsJob Type: Part-TimeSchedule: Overnight ShiftHours: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AMLocation: In person, Fort Lee, NJWork EnvironmentSafe and secure workplaceOn-the-job training providedFast-paced and dynamic environmentTeam-oriented atmosphereResponsibilitiesPatrol the property on foot and by vehicle to maintain a visible security presenceMonitor buildings, grounds, and common areas for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or rule violationsCheck entrance doors to ensure they are secure and functioning properlyRespond to incidents and document unusual activityReport maintenance concerns such as leaks, fire hazards, or damaged propertyContact emergency services when necessaryCommunicate effectively with residents, visitors, and staffHandle difficult situations professionally and calmlyQualificationsMust have an active SORA licensePrevious security experience is preferred, but not requiredStrong observation and problem-solving skillsAbility to walk extensively and work outdoors in varying weather conditionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsValid driver's license is a plus, but not requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredAdditional InformationThis is an active role and is not a desk-only position.
