Duties
Greet prospective tenants warmly, providing detailed information about available units, amenities, and community features.
Conduct property tours confidently, highlighting key benefits and answering questions to facilitate leasing decisions.
Manage leasing applications efficiently using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite, ensuring accurate data entry and document filing.
Negotiate lease terms and prepare legal documents including contracts, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law.
Process Section 8 vouchers and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) applications with precision, adhering to program guidelines.
Maintain excellent customer relationships through proactive communication, upselling additional services or amenities when appropriate.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure property upkeep aligns with leasing commitments and tenant satisfaction.
Handle conflict management professionally by addressing tenant concerns promptly and effectively while maintaining office organization through filing and data entry tasks.
Requirements
Proven experience in property leasing, property management, or real estate administrative roles.
Strong knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and landlord-tenant law.
Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills combined with effective phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities.
Demonstrated ability in sales, negotiation, and upselling within a fast-paced office environment.
Legal administrative experience related to lease agreements, contracts, or real estate documentation.
Office experience including data entry, filing, and managing administrative tasks efficiently.

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
