This role is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within a large, complex enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in IT project delivery, requirements traceability, test planning/execution, and technical mapping, along with the ability to work independently and at speed to gather and refine requirements.This individual will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive system enhancements, integrations, and implementations while ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory standards, and enterprise architecture.Key Responsibilities:Requirements Gathering & AnalysisIndependently engage with business stakeholders to rapidly elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements across multiple initiatives.Translate business needs into clear, detailed functional and technical specifications.Develop and maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure full lifecycle traceability from requirements through development, testing, and deployment.Perform technical mapping of business processes to system capabilities, identifying gaps and recommending solutions.Assist with validation activities by contributing to test scenarios and scripts to confirm alignment with business requirements. IT Project Delivery (Enterprise Environment):Contribute to large-scale IT projects and system implementations, following established SDLC or Agile frameworks.Act as a key liaison between business and IT teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of project milestones.Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps to manage backlogs, user stories, tasks, defects, and sprint activities.Support project planning activities, including scope definition, impact analysis, and risk identification.Qualifications Required:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.3–5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Systems Analyst or similar role in a large enterprise IT environment. Proven experience with:Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) development and managementWriting test plans, test cases, and test scriptsTechnical mapping and process modelingIndependent, fast-paced requirements gathering across multiple stakeholdersHands-on experience with Azure DevOps (or similar tools) for backlog and lifecycle management.Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Preferred:Experience in the utility or energy industry.Familiarity with Smartsheet, GIS systems, or energy management platforms.Experience supporting large-scale system implementations or digital transformation initiatives.Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or ITIL.Proficiency with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms).
