Asphalt Estimator

Job Description An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the Thornton, CO area for an individual with 2+ years' experience as an Estimator with a strong background in asphalt maintenance and paving, along with concrete commercial projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and rapidly growing asphalt and concrete contractor specializing in asphalt maintenance services such as sealcoating, crack sealing, patching, overlays, and pavement preservation, supporting a wide range of commercial, municipal, and infrastructure projects throughout the region.This position would earn a generous base salary along with a loaded benefits package including medical benefits, a 401K with company matching, PTO, and other outstanding perks, as well as strong long-term career growth and advancement opportunities.All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration:· Preparing detailed estimates for asphalt maintenance and paving projects (primary) and concrete work (secondary) is REQUIRED, including accurate takeoffs, cost analysis, and bid preparation for commercial maintenance and paving projects such as sealcoating, crack fill, patching, overlays, and rehabilitation work· Proven experience estimating recurring maintenance contracts and pavement preservation programs, with the ability to develop competitive pricing strategies for both small-scale maintenance work and larger paving scopes· Book of business or existing client relationships is a MUST, with the ability to leverage relationships with general contractors, developers, property managers, HOAs, and municipalities to generate and secure ongoing maintenance and paving contracts· Reviewing plans, specifications, and bidding documents; performing quantity takeoffs and developing competitive pricing strategies for maintenance-driven and paving scopes is PREFERRED· Building strong relationships with GCs, developers, property managers, and municipalities to help win long-term maintenance agreements and repeat business, as well as expand market presence is PREFERRED· Identifying, tracking, and pursuing new bidding opportunities, including maintenance contracts, service agreements, and recurring revenue opportunities, to support business development and revenue growth is PREFERREDIf interested and QUALIFIED, please send resume in Microsoft Word format to: anthonyb@etechhi.comEtech Hi, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer/staffing firm and we are committed to providing a workplace free from harassment and discrimination.
