Position Details: Industry: Pharmaceutical/BiotechnologyJob Title: Research Nurse IILocation: Grayslake, IL 60064 (Onsite)Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possible Extension Based on Performance and Business Needs)Shift / Hours:Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM (or standard 8-hour day shift)Evening (PM) Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM (8 hours)Weekend Shifts:6:45 AM - 7:15 PM6:45 PM - 7:15 AMPossible Double Shift:6:45 AM - 11:15 PMRequirements:Night and weekend availability requiredMust complete ~6 weeks of training across all 3 shifts (Day, PM, Night)40 hours per weekPay Range: $37.00 - $51.00 per hour (Based on Shift) Required Qualifications:Active Illinois nursing licenseAt least 1 year of experienceICU experience preferred; telemetry or emergency room experience acceptableNursing skills (IV starts, computer skills, dressings, assessment skills)Responsibilities:Participate in execution of protocol activities for Phase I clinical research studiesMaintain safety and confidentiality of study subjectsEvaluate adverse events and manage safety reporting in a timely mannerReview protocols and informed consent forms; identify and communicate potential issuesPerform study-related nursing activities in compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines (CFR, ICH, GCP)Communicate with Principal Investigator, study physicians, and cross-functional teams to coordinate study activitiesParticipate in quality and compliance improvement initiativesMaintain accurate and complete source data in eSource and/or other documents; resolve discrepanciesFacilitate training of new nursing personnel and report trainee progressParticipate in recruitment and screening activities to support subject enrollmentAdditional Information:Phase I Unit experience preferredMust be flexible with scheduling and training requirementsBenefits:The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, (paid time , paid sick and safe time , hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, paid holidays annually - These all are subject to applicable eligibility).
