We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential plumbing systems, and site installation. This role involves working on commercial and residential projects, performing installations, repairs, and maintenance with a focus on quality and safety.
The Journeyman Plumber will utilize a variety of tools and techniques, including blueprint reading and schematics, to ensure project success. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately
Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations
Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently
Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high safety standards
Conduct troubleshooting of plumbing issues and implement effective solutions
Assist with remodeling, maintenance, and general construction tasks as needed
Ensure all work complies with local codes, regulations, and safety protocols
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed for project records
Qualifications
Valid Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent certification
Proven experience in construction plumbing, site installation, or related field service roles
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics, carpentry, welding, and mechanical systems is preferred
Familiarity with blueprint reading, pipe threading, assembly, remodeling, and maintenance tasks
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and construction machinery safely
Experience working on project sites with knowledge of safety standards and protocols
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing projects
Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or site travel as required
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the workday
