(see E Ink Our Company)About the position:The Process Technician is responsible for performing day-to-day chemical/fabrication processes in a research lab environment. They will organize and maintain the parts inventory, fabricate minor assemblies, and provide basic guidance to others regarding component use. They will also contribute to the completion of and data-gathering related to chemical batch execution. With high attention to detail, the ideal candidate exhibits strong problem-solving and communication skills, as well as have a team player mentality, and strong awareness of safety guidelines.Job Responsibilities:Execute various batch processes within the benchtop research arenaHandle specific chemical materials in accordance with proper safety guidelinesAccurately execute batch run sheets in a safe and efficient manner in conjunction with research scientists and engineersInterface with electronic and process equipment to perform the various operations within the lab and facilities environmentParticipate and engage in all aspects of the Technician Certification ProgramDon appropriate process PPE including, but not limited to, fire resistant clothing, steel toed shoes, nitrile gloves, and respiratorWork collaboratively in a team-based operation requiring cooperative co-worker engagementSkill Requirements:High School Diploma with 6 months to 2 years of work experienceComputer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office suiteSelf-motivated and flexible and versatile to adapt to changesAbility to multitask with precision and attention to detailAbility to meet deadlines with minimal supervisionStrong verbal and written communication skillsAble to read, write, and speak EnglishAbility to lift and maneuver objects weighing < 48 poundsAble to remain in a stationary position for the majority of a 10 hour workdayFine motor skills to accommodate accurate material compounding and delicate lab equipmentPreferences:Experience in a chemical manufacturing environmentPrevious knowledge of safe practices and OSHA requirementsWaste water processing experienceExperience with ISO-9001 and GMP guidelinesBenefits:Competitive total compensation packageMedical, dental and vision on 1st dayCompany 401K match20 PTO daysGenerous sick leave policyCasual day to day work environmentHybrid/flexible work environment (for some positions)E Ink is committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce. The total compensation package may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, and other variable pay components. The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
