Enhancements Foreman

As a Foreman on our Residential Maintenance Enhancements team at Dennis’ 7 Dees, you’ll lead a crew through construction and installation projects for our existing landscape clients—from excavation and grading to planting, hardscape, and irrigation. You’ll be responsible for running the job site, directing your crew, managing daily paperwork, and keeping clients and managers in the loop every step of the way. If you take pride in quality craftsmanship, know how to bring out the best in your team, and are ready to grow with a company that values your expertise, we’d love to hear from you.Responsibilities and DutiesDirect daily crew operations: assign tasks, oversee work quality, and ensure safety standards are met on all job sites.Perform and oversee landscape installation work, including excavation and grading, hardscape, planting, and irrigation.Drive company vehicle and trailer to and between job sites.Complete daily recordkeeping accurately and on time, including timesheets, equipment logs, billing sheets, and job progress photos.Communicate with Account Manager and Field Supervisor regarding staffing, equipment, and job-related concerns.Interact professionally with clients and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project.Identify and report equipment issues; ensure all incidents are documented immediately.Coach and develop Crew Members and enforce company policies and PPE guidelines.Maintain cleanliness of shop, yard, and truck/trailer.Perform other related duties as assigned.Required QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of landscape construction experienceExperience leading or supervising a crew of 2 or moreGeneral knowledge of landscape construction, including planting, hardscape, irrigation installation, and gradingAbility to operate large power equipment (skid steer, mini excavator, rototiller, sod cutter, chainsaw, aerator, etc.)Ability to read and understand plansProficiency with smartphone and work applicationsStrong communication and conflict resolution skillsCustomer service orientation and ability to maintain professionalism with clientsAbility to lift up to 75 pounds on a daily basisValid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required as a condition of employmentPreferred Qualifications1+ year of experience driving a truck and trailerGeneral plant knowledge and familiarity with Pacific Northwest horticultureBilingual in Spanish and EnglishWork Schedule and EnvironmentThis position is based at our headquarters in Southeast PortlandMonday–Friday schedule; 40+ hours per week during peak season with overtimeWorkday generally begins between 6:00–7:00 am depending on seasonWork outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme temperaturesRequired safety equipment provided at no cost (vests, glasses, gloves, hearing protection)Travel between job sites in a company vehicle; no out-of-town travel requiredBenefits & Pay RangeWages of $24.00-30.00 per hour, dependent upon experienceWeekly payPaid time offComprehensive and affordable health insurance: medical, dental, vision, mental health, and alternative medicine401k with generous company match40% employee discount on all plants and retail merchandisePartner discounts and employee store passes at Danner, Carhartt, Duluth Trading, Adidas, and ColumbiaTuition reimbursement for ongoing educationOpportunities for professional growth and advancement within the companyAbout UsDennis’ 7 Dees is a family-owned and operated business with deep roots in the Portland area.
