AVP, Scrum Master - Financial Apps
Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our Agile Delivery team for Financial Applications, primarily for Oracle ERP Cloud implementations. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and ensure smooth collaboration across business, technical teams, and stakeholders spread across multiple locations. You will play a critical role in driving Agile best practices tailored for Oracle ERP Cloud projects, enabling timely delivery of high-quality solutions.Essential ResponsibilitiesFacilitate all Scrum ceremonies—including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives—for Oracle ERP Cloud teams.Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, Functional Consultants, and QA to ensure a clear understanding of user stories and acceptance criteria.Act as a servant-leader and coach to Agile teams, promoting Agile principles, continuous improvement, and self-organization.Identify, track, and remove impediments blocking team progress and elevate issues as needed.Coordinate cross-team dependencies and manage stakeholder communication, with an emphasis on offshore/onshore collaboration.Monitor team metrics and provide transparent reporting to management and stakeholders.Support capacity planning and sprint forecasting to optimize delivery.Assist in Oracle ERP Cloud releases and deployment coordination within Agile frameworks.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance among distributed teams.Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.Qualifications and RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Information Technology, or a minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology in lieu of a degree.Minimum of 2 years of prior experience as a Scrum Master or in project management leading Agile teams on configurable solutions, software products, or cloud "as a service" products.Minimum 3 years of financial services experience.Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience proactively improving software development processes and practices to optimize business-value delivery; Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent is a plus.Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required.Desired CharacteristicsProven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software-development projects, preferably with Oracle ERP Cloud implementations or other ERP solutions.Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and hands-on experience facilitating Agile ceremonies.Familiarity with Oracle ERP Cloud modules and implementation lifecycle is highly desirable.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage distributed teams and stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive resolution of impediments.Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred.Experience working in offshore or distributed Agile teams is a plus.Working knowledge of Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.SalaryThe salary range for this position is 90,000.00 – 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level, or knowledge.
