Job TitleData Solution Consultant ResponsibilitiesData Solution Consulting & Delivery Participate in the agile planning process by understanding data consumers’ needs and technical aspects (not just an order taker, must be proactive and think critically) Align requirements to stories and turn them into work items Develop data models (landing), ingestion and integration solutions consistent with existing design patterns Develop solutions that maximize automation, orchestration and efficiently use the data management toolset Ensure new solutions align to data management best practices Perform QA and data validation of new solutions Contribute to knowledge base with complete documentation of solutions Steady State Support Monitoring of data pipelines and reporting of performance trends Ongoing support (includes break/fix) & enhancement of production data pipelines Key Skills / TechnologiesRequired Demonstrated success in implementing ETL and data solution SQL Expert (including table and view creation, functions & stored procedures) Data modeling (conceptual, logic and physical) Strong experience with: MS SQL Server Azure Data Factory Visual Studio Demonstrated ability to work with on-premise and cloud technology (e.g., APIs), and various data formats (XML, Excel, json, text) Experience with Excel; i.e., data analysis and validation Strong time management skills and Agile experience Desired Experience with PowerShell a plus Azure Data PaaS solutions (Storage accounts, Automation) a plus Experience with Azure DevOps and ServiceNow Basic experience presenting data with Power BI and PowerPoint Required Skills: Azure, Data factory, SQL, Basic Qualification: SQL background w/ experience doing stored procedures, functions/history tables/xml, etc. Good communication.
