Assist in maintaining integrated library system. Help students with locating appropriate materials and checking out/in books. Maintaining equipment. Work with small groups of students to reinforce instruction. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Job Task Descriptions Frequency Percentage of TimeMaintain library books, periodicals, and online resources, including taking inventory, circulating media materials, issuing overdue notices, book orders, book repairs, interlibrary loan requests, online access points, and other circulation desk responsibilities.Daily 30%Provide academic curriculum support by preparing library displays, bulletin boards, charts, and other visual aids for library and classroom use. Schedule media equipment usage, repair, inventory, maintenance, and ordering of related supplies for library or classroom use. Share information from the District Library with administrators, staff, and the community.Daily 25%Assist students with curriculum reinforcement to both individuals and small groups to ensure mastering of information literacy skills, research resources, and class-assigned projects.Daily 20%Assist with supervision of students and parent volunteers in the media center.Daily 10%Perform basic clerical work such as typing, stapling, filing, duplicating, and taking inventory.Daily 10%Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
