Instructional Aide/Aftercare Worker

Overview Divine Savior School in Kiel, Wisconsin is currently looking for an Instructional Aide/After Care Coordinator. We need someone who is self motivated and loves children of all ages. This position is from 1:30pm - 4:30 Monday through Friday. Divine Savior is a personalized learning school. We break down our teaching assignments according to subject thus allowing our students to grow and succeed at their own pace which is very exciting for the them. This is an hourly position with a wage between $15.00 & $18.00 an hour, depending on background and experience. There are no benefits offered because it is considered a part-time position. This position will remained open until filled. Duties Instructional Aide: Lesson Support: Assist classroom teachers in preparing materials and setting up the classroom for lessons and activities. Individualized Help: Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students struggling with coursework or specific learning materials. Behavior Management: Monitor student behavior, encourage positive conduct, and help enforce school rules and classroom policies Aftercare Worker: Provide direct care and supervision to children in a variety of settings, including classroom and playground. Implement classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment. Assist in the development and execution of age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Foster strong relationships with children through effective communication, encouragement, and support. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to first aid protocols and emergency procedures. Qualifications Experience working with children in various capacities such as childcare, tutoring, sports coaching, or theater is highly desirable. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Familiarity with behavior management strategies is a plus. Certification in first aid or CPR is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with children effectively. A passion for teaching and nurturing young minds through creative play and structured activities. Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour Work Location: In person
