Senior Estimator
We are now Hiring for a Senior Estimator and is responsible for gathering and reviewing documents to prepare cost and sales estimates for Senior Management. This includes the review of Plans, Specification, Selection Sheets and any other documents required to complete the work.

Essential Job Functions
Review Builder Portals to acquire new plans, specifications, selections
Monitor Builder Portals for new Plans, Purchase Orders, Back Charges, and Variance Purchase Orders
Communicates with customers on New Plans, Communities, Specifications, Selections
Serves as liaison to the Field Operations Manager and Account Coordinator on issues involving Pricing, Selections, and Estimating
Serves as an advocate for the customer, gathering and disseminating information as necessary
Prepares and Maintains Bid Documents.
Maintains customer relationships by responding to all inquiries and documenting any action.
Responds to customer or field inquiries on selections and specifications
Identify potential project risks and provide solutions to minimize cost and schedule impacts.
Reviews and tracks material costs from suppliers and works with the Purchasing Manager to ensure we are getting the best value on material purchases
Works with Purchasing Manager to determine the best suppliers for given projects or builders.
Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience And Training
High School Diploma or other equivalent (i.e., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).
Strong computer skills (MS Suite)
Knowledge of Sage Preferred but not required

Mental And Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time
Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery
Must be able to ascend/descend stairs to access workspace
Frequently communicates with customers, managers, field employees on status of projects. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Working Environment And Conditions
This position requires working in an indoor environment and cubicle type workspace
Location of primary workspace requires climbing a flight of stairs
