Technical Program Manager- Parallel Testing

We are seeking an experienced Executive Technical Program Manager to lead a critical external parallel-testing program supporting the modernization of a large-scale financial platform. This role will oversee the concurrent operation and validation of legacy and cloud-based platforms, ensuring operational readiness prior to production cutover.ResponsibilitiesOwn the external parallel-testing strategy, roadmap, governance, and execution plan.Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, infrastructure, operations, testing, risk, and data organizations.Coordinate production data refreshes, environment readiness, and testing cycles.Drive reconciliation of legacy and target platform results, including defect management and root cause resolution.Manage Jira planning, dependencies, RAID logs, and delivery governance.Coordinate testing with external participants, vendors, and business stakeholders.Develop executive-level readiness reporting, dashboards, and go-live recommendations.Required Qualifications15+ years of experience in technical program management, large-scale technology delivery, or enterprise transformation.Proven success leading platform migrations, parallel testing, production readiness, or system conversion programs.Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, data flows, APIs, databases, and environment management.Advanced Jira expertise and experience managing complex cross-functional programs.Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and risk escalation skills.Preferred QualificationsFinancial services, capital markets, clearing, settlement, payments, or banking experience.Experience with cloud migrations, operational readiness, disaster recovery, and enterprise testing programs.Knowledge of Kafka, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and modern data platforms.PMP, PgMP, SAFe, ITIL, or cloud certifications.Key DeliverablesExternal parallel-testing roadmap and execution planData refresh and environment readiness frameworkReconciliation and defect management processExecutive dashboards and readiness reportingGo-live readiness assessment and recommendationIdeal Candidate: A hands-on technical program leader who drives execution, resolves complex issues, and can confidently communicate program readiness to executive and board-level stakeholders.Rate: $85-110/HR
