All supporting functions suchas Controlling, Finance, Human Resources, Business Processes and IT,Consolidation, Marketing, and QHSES are consolidated in one entity.The Senior Project Coordinator will have the responsibility to arrange transportation of goods for various project assignments. Responsible for the successful, proactive daily operation of export and import, sea and heavy haul freight forwarding activities. For the next possible date we are lookingfor you i fulltime (40h/week) as Senior Logistics Coordinator.Key responsibilities:Conducts freight negotiations with carriers, haulers, freight handlers, deugro overseas offices and agents for all modes of transportation, to ensure price competitiveness and profitabilityResponsible for overseas communications that includes anticipation of needs in overnight correspondence.Approve and post vendor invoices and bill customers after shipment is completePrepares invoices and shipping documents such as, but not limited to export Bill of Lading (MBL, HBL), commercial invoices, certificate of originInteracting with customers, vendors and foreign agentsResponding in a timely manner to customer request on shipment statusCompletes cargo assessment to determine the best possible method route to implement in cargo movementManage suppliers, sub-contractors and third party cargo handlersInforms customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.Skills, knowledge, and expertise:Minimum 3 - 5 years of Freight Forwarding experience preferredExcellent communication skills - Verbal & WrittenComputer skills - MS Windows 7+, MS OfficePositive attitudeMultitasking Skills - Able to handle various assignmentsFocus - Pay attention to the customer's needs and commit to exceeding themProblem solving abilityAttention to detailAbility to learn and adjustCreative thinking and open to new ideasWhat we offer you:Joining the team at deugro group offers you a long-term perspective for yourprofessional career in a prosperous and future-oriented company.
