Software Engineer

Senior Or Lead Software Quality EngineerWe are seeking a Senior or Lead Software Quality Engineer to join our team. This position is 100% onsite and involves working closely with our engineering team to ensure the quality and compliance of our software products. The role is initially for a 6-month period with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.Responsibilities:Develop and implement validation plans based on software requirements.Design test cases and create procedures for conducting tests.Execute test procedures, collect, and analyze test results.Analyze problems related to documentation and/or testing and initiate corrective actions.Develop validation reports based on test results.Provide technical guidance and support to other engineers and technicians.Offer technical and analytical support to production to define and resolve issues.Education Qualification:Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a physical science, or a related field like Quality, Reliability, or Microelectronics.Required Skills:Proven experience in medical device software validation, including testing and validating software in a regulated environment (FDA/ISO), preparing validation documents, and supporting audits.Experience with data systems and testing, with the ability to test complex systems that manage and move data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and reliable system integrations.Strong documentation skills and risk-based thinking, with the ability to write clear validation documents and focus testing on high-risk areas to ensure compliance and quality. Demonstrates strong judgment, ownership, and efficiency in leveraging tools and resources to achieve high-quality work.Desired Certifications:Quality Engineer Certification (CQE) and/or experience in a regulated medical industry are preferred.The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable.
