Commercial Chiller Technician
Snapshot / Role OverviewWe are seeking a Commercial Chiller Technician in Denver Metro, CO to keep large-scale cooling systems running at peak performance and minimize downtime for commercial clients.ImpactEnsure uninterrupted climate control for hospitals, data centers, and high-rise buildings that depend on reliable cooling.Reduce emergency repair costs through proactive maintenance and early issue detection.Strengthen client relationships by delivering expert service with clear communication.Contribute to energy savings by optimizing chiller efficiency and performance.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair central plant equipment including chillers rated 100 tons and larger, motors, pumps, valves, and cooling towers.Diagnose and troubleshoot centrifugal, screw, and reciprocating chiller systems.Perform overhauls and major repairs on chiller compressors and heat exchangers.Execute preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and reduce failures.Respond to emergency service calls through on-call rotation.Complete testing, start-ups, and commissioning of new and repaired equipment.Document all service activities and maintain accurate maintenance records.Coordinate with project managers and clients on repair timelines and recommendations.RequirementsMust-Haves5+ years of hands-on experience servicing commercial chillers (100+ tons).Strong knowledge of centrifugal, screw, and reciprocating chiller systems.EPA Universal Certification required.Proficiency with chiller controls, refrigerant circuits, and electrical systems.Valid drivers license with clean driving record.Nice-to-HavesExperience with York, Carrier, Trane, or Daikin equipment.Manufacturer training or certifications.OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.Compensation & LogisticsCompetitive salary depending on experience; benefits include health insurance, PTO, paid holidays, and retirement plan.Call to ActionIf you are ready to advance your career in mechanical construction, apply today or connect with us to learn more.
