BWXT's technology is driving advances in medical radioisotope production in North America and microreactors for various defense and space applications.Responsibilities:Coordinate closely with the Operations team to plan and schedule preventative, predictive, and repair maintenance in a way that minimizes interference with the shop's flow.Collaborate with Operations to plan and handle all safety-related maintenance tasks, ensuring they are completed within required guidelines.Confirm that all necessary materials and parts are available before starting a maintenance job.Keep maintenance and production teams informed about upcoming work and provide real-time updates during job execution.Identify and resolve any scheduling conflicts between maintenance and production to maintain an efficient workflow.Review work orders for accuracy, clarify any ambiguous instructions, and correct errors as needed.Spend 70-80% of time working directly on the shop floor performing hands-on maintenance activities.Perform additional tasks assigned by the Maintenance Leadership Team, including help with planning, scheduling, and technology improvements.This is a 1st shift role (Monday-Friday) with occasional overtime and extra hours during plant shutdowns or other high-demand periods.Qualifications:A minimum of 6 years of experience working in maintenance or facilities support in a hands-on role. Other relevant experience may be considered.Prior experience using SAP for maintenance tasks is highly desirable.Experience with HBM, VBM, lathes, robot welders, and production welding equipment is a plus.Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively work with team members.Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.Flexibility to work overtime, including some weekends and during plant shutdown periods.Pay: $64,000 - $90,000
