Applicants for the Dean position at the College of Law should have an earned terminal degree from an accredited law school and a record of significant impact in the legal field. Leadership experience, including personnel and resource management, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong vision for the future of legal education, the ability to build a cohesive community, and a proven track record of embracing innovation in student-focused legal education. Experience in strategic planning, and visioning, and a commitment to the values of a land-grant institution are also highly valued.
