All job offers are contingent on successful completion of a Background Check, Drug Screen, and Pre-Employment Physical.What We're Seeking:The HR Assistant at SWD Inc. is responsible for supporting the HR function along with the rest of the HR and Training Teams. The right candidate will have a customer service attitude and is willing to listen and assist employees on a daily basis. They will embody the SWD Better4 Purpose Statement; Better People, Better Parts, Better Environment and Better Boring.We're looking for someone who is willing to take on new challenges and wants to grow in the HR Field. They also must have a full generalist attitude as they will quickly move from benefits to payroll to employee relations. We are willing to train the right candidate in areas of knowledge they may have gaps as we pride ourselves on our continuous learning culture. This position is on-site at our location in Addison, IL. Remote work is not available.Starting Pay Range: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experienceHours: 7am-3:30pm; We may be able to discuss some flexibility in hours but need someone who is available to start work by at least 7am, at least 3 days per week, to serve as a point of contact for our 3rd shift employees. Responsibilities/Duties:Recruitment & OnboardingSet up and attend recruiting events such as job fairs and interview datesPost open positions internally and externally (job boards, colleges, IDES, etc.)Serve as first point of contact for all candidates via interview screen or direct meeting.
