The Material Handler II operates powered industrial equipment, uses warehouse systems accurately, and supports daily operations by ensuring the safe, timely, and accurate movement of product. This is a 1st shift position, Monday to Friday (6:00 am - 2:30 pm)./ph3Primary Responsibilities/h3ulliPick, pack, and process customer orders accurately within established productivity standards./liliLoad and unload incoming and outgoing shipments safely and efficiently./liliReplenish inventory within racking locations to support order flow./liliStage pallets and materials for picking, shipping, and production./liliOperate powered industrial equipment, including reach truck, sit-down forklift, and power walkie, in a safe and efficient manner./liliUse scanners and warehouse management systems to complete inventory transactions accurately./liliParticipate in scheduled cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy efforts./liliPerform assigned audit and quality checks independently to ensure orders and inventory are accurate./liliSupport production, shipping, and receiving operations as needed to meet daily business needs./liliMaintain clean, safe, and organized work areas in accordance with facility standards./liliFollow all ITW safety policies and procedures at all times./liliIdentify and communicate opportunities for process or efficiency improvements./liliPerform other general warehouse duties as assigned./li/ulh3Job Requirements/h3ulliHigh School Diploma/GED, preferred/liliMinimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or material handling environment./liliForklift experience and certification required./liliAbility to work independently with minimal supervision./liliBasic computer skills, including the use of scanners and warehouse systems./liliExperience with Navision or similar ERP/warehouse management systems, preferred./liliStrong interpersonal and communication skills./liliAbility to work from 6:00 AM 2:30 PM (Monday Friday), with overtime and occasional weekends as needed./li/ulh3Work Environment:/h3pWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee will be exposed to heat, dust, climate variances, and moving mechanical equipment typically found in a distribution warehouse environment. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Certain personal protective equipment is required when in the manufacturing areas. Ability to hear safety noises in the facility as well. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception, and Ability to adjust focus.
