Computer Systems Design and Related ServicesFacilities Support ServicesGasoline StationsElectric Power Generation, Transmission and DistributionVocational Rehabilitation ServicesMid-Level Systems Integration Engineer (Linux, Unix, C) Salary: $110K- 130KLocation: Annapolis Junction, MDLabor Requirements: • Actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues, and developing and implementing corrective actions.• Observe and interpreted visual outputs indicating the operational status of systems and network components for designated computer network infrastructure.• Translate user requests into technical diagnoses, then apply diagnoses to develop technical solutions to meet user needs.• Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact. • Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions. Technical Skills Required: • Strong Linux experience. • Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management. • Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers or network infrastructure.• Experience setting up storage such as network attached storage.• Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C. Special Technical Skills Desired: • Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite.• Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS.• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana.• Experience with SELinux and FIPS. Minimum Experience Required: • Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered. • Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.• Must have an IAT-I certification, such as Security+CE.• Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming. Information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration.• TS/SCI with Polygraph Required
