We provide a safe, progressive and rewarding workplace with competitive pay and employee benefits.MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-directed, proactive individual who works effectively under pressure and time constraints with the ability to multi-task and work within a team environmentDemonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, professionalism, and fanatical attention to detailRequired to meet deadlines, must be comfortable prioritizing tasks, demonstrate flexibility, display a strong work ethic, and sense of urgencyRequired to have 3-5 years of procurement / parts experienceStrong organization skills with the ability to obtain a high level of familiarity quicklyMust be computer literate with a working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programsADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Excel, Access, Database experience and Analytical aptitude desiredTechnical background desiredProficiency of responsibilities along with knowledge, skills, and experience will determine Procurement Buyer level 1, 2, or 3* Level 1* Entry levelLevel 23-7 years of experience80% of position is purchasing activities, 20% parts operations and expeditingWork as liaison between purchasing, stores, and Maintenance Operations CenterDetermine competitive pricing based on our needed scheduleIdentify interchangeable parts and update parts catalogLevel 38 years or more of experienceCover for manager when out of the officeWork closely with other managers to solve parts issuesProvide training to lower levels and new employeesPRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Foster the Flexjet culture while embracing the company fundamental principlesAdhere to Flexjet policies and proceduresPurchase aircraft parts required to support the maintenance department to ensure the day-to-day operations is accomplishedConduct problem solving and decision-making support to ensure tactical and strategic execution of the purchasing processProvide technical assistance in determining requirements, purchasing, and movement of partsCoordinate and resolve problems with internal and external resources to achieve resolutions, thereby reducing aircraft ground time, flight delays, and cancelationsKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Requires purchasing skillsReporting and analyticsEnsure supplier and delivery commitments are met through continuous follow up regarding order status, vendor performance, and resolve problems regarding quality and supply as requiredCoordinate internal part movements for AOG situationsMaintain detailed records/notes to include all pertinent information in the requestCommunicate with various departments on parts statusMust be able to determine parts numbers required by maintenance in reference to the Illustrated Parts CatalogParts ordering, parts receiving, shipping, packaging, maintaining inventory control and integrityOther tasks as assignedFlexjet is an equal-opportunity employer.
