About the CompanyHenderson Harbor Group (HHGroup) is seeking a highly analytical Intern to support our Finance and Recruiting teams by helping improve how our internal technologies, recruiting platforms, and business systems interface with one another. This role is ideal for a candidate interested in business technology, systems optimization, data workflows, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced recruiting environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with recruiting technologies, finance operations, reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives alongside industry leaders.About the RoleThis role is ideal for a candidate interested in business technology, systems optimization, data workflows, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced recruiting environment.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and analyze how recruiting, finance, CRM, ATS, and communication platforms interact and identify opportunities for improved efficiency and automationAssist in streamlining workflows between internal systems, databases, spreadsheets, and reporting toolsSupport integration and process improvement initiatives across recruiting and finance operationsProspect and identify potential candidates through sourcing tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and internal databasesConduct intake and screening calls via phone or video conference to gather candidate qualifications and technical informationManage inbound calls, emails, and recruiting inquiries from multiple channelsTrack recruiting activity, prospecting metrics, leads, meetings, and operational data within ATS/CRM systemsAssist with reporting, data analysis, dashboard preparation, and presentation development using Excel and PowerPointCollaborate with recruiters and leadership to identify operational bottlenecks and recommend technology-driven solutionsParticipate in weekly professional development, recruiting strategy, and technical process improvement trainingsQualificationsBachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Communications, or related fieldInterest in business operations, recruiting technology, workflow optimization, or systems/process improvementStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently while managing multiple prioritiesAbility to commute periodically to the Parsippany, NJ officeDesired SkillsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reportingFamiliarity with CRM systems, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and workflow management toolsUnderstanding of systems integration, process mapping, data flow, or business operations preferredExperience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and ZoomAbility to assess operational workflows and identify areas for automation or increased efficiencyStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsComfortable learning new technologies and software platforms quicklyExperience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and ZoomPay range and compensation packageWhat You’ll GainExposure to recruiting operations, finance workflows, and business technology systemsHands-on experience analyzing and improving operational efficiencyExperience working with recruiting platforms, reporting tools, and business process optimizationProfessional mentorship from recruiting, finance, and operations leadersEqual Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity.
