The ideal candidate will possess a solid accounting foundation, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Staff Accountant Responsibilities:- Process and maintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities- Prepare and post journal entries- Perform general ledger account reconciliations- Assist with month-end close and financial reporting processes- Support cost accounting functions, including standard costing- Maintain and reconcile fixed assets- Monitor and reconcile inventory transactions and balances- Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or process improvements- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and proceduresStaff Accountant Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required- 2–4 years of accounting experience- Experience with AP, AR, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close- Exposure to cost accounting and standard costing plus- Inventory and fixed asset accounting experience is a plus- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Systems savvy with strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables)If this position is of interest please apply, alternatively if you would like to discuss your job search and other Accounting & Finance opportunities please email your resume to Paul Gould, Managing Partner: paul.gould@nextlevelresources.netNext Level Resources, Inc. is a professional staffing firm dedicated to finding exceptional Accounting and Finance talent on a permanent and consultant/interim basis for clients throughout San Diego County.
