Tableau Developer / Administration Consultant

Overview In this role you will leverage Tableau to design and optimize dashboards and visuals, manage Tableau Server administration, and integrate visualizations with external systems. You will support planning, estimation, and training, while debugging and refining visualizations to drive data-driven decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare data models and deliver modular, rich visual reports. This position offers the opportunity to work in a global delivery environment and shape analytics at scale. ResponsibilitiesDeep knowledge of Tableau Desktop, Tableau Reader and Tableau Server and their administration/installationPlan, estimate, support, train, and debug visualizations in TableauInterface Tableau dashboards with external portals and applicationsDesign data preparation for Tableau dashboardsCreate rich, modular reports and visuals (bar, line, scatter, heat maps)Apply Tableau objects like facts, attributes, hierarchies, filters, calculated fields, sets, groups, parametersUtilize strong analytical skills to support analytics initiativesWork in a global delivery environment Key requirementsBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent (or three years of progressive experience per year in lieu of education)At least 4 years of experience with Java technologiesIn-depth Tableau expertise including Desktop, Server, and related componentsExperience planning, implementing, and supporting Tableau-based analytics in a global delivery settingStrong analytical skillsAbility to work in a global delivery environmentTableau DesktopTableau ServerTableau ReaderTableau data preparation and data modeling
