Project Manager Fire Protection (Contract)Location: Manassas, VA (travel between Northern VA and Richmond, VA)Duration: ~6 months (contract)Position OverviewSeeking a Project Manager with strong cost control and project planning experience to support installation projects within the fire protection and data center environment. This role will initially focus on data center-related project checks and evolve into full project management responsibilities across multiple active projects.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, schedule, and manage installation projects within the fire protection marketCoordinate activities of project coordinators, subcontractors, and vendorsCommunicate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure project executionTrack, manage, and control project costs in alignment with gross margin targetsDevelop and maintain project schedules, reports, and documentationSupport multiple concurrent projects across Northern Virginia and Richmond, VAEnsure continuous follow-up on project tasks, documentation, and deliverablesMaintain organized project records and clerical documentationApply technical understanding of fire protection systems to support decision-makingRequired QualificationsMinimum 5 years of Project Management experience in fire protection or similar industryExperience supporting installation projects, ideally within data center environmentsStrong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and cost controlDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience coordinating subcontractors and field activitiesStrong follow-up skills and attention to administrative/project documentationSkills & CompetenciesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to develop and execute project plans in fire suppression environmentsSolid understanding of basic accounting and financial principles related to project cost controlStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesHigh level of organization and attention to detailProficient computer skillsWork EnvironmentOffice or remote-based work with travel to project sitesRegular visits to data centers and industrial facilitiesMay require extended walking, standing, bending, or stoopingExposure to varying environmental conditions and industrial settingsAspen Technical StaffingCELEBRATING 25 YEARS~2001-2026~We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
