Manufacturing Flex Operator - Second Shift
Manufacturing Flex Operator PRIMARY DUTIES:Employee is responsible for function, quality, and job safety for required tasks performed.Ability to maintain clean and safe work environment.Perform identified manual manufacturing activities required to fabricate, assemble, process and/or prepare items/products for the internal or external customer.Operate a variety of simple manufacturing equipment including but not limited to the following: soft straightener, leveler, welder, riveter, flasher, crinking machine, annealer and bone jigger.Check components, sub-assemblies and products for conspicuous defects during all aspects of the manufacturing process.Ability to inspect and sort product.Ability to load and unload parts from a conveyor belt.Ability to place drop of oil on knives and place knives onto a tray.Produce components by assembling parts according to engineering specifications.Clean product and pack in correct box.Record daily production and quality information.Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and related quality criteria for all equipment and processes in the factory.Inspect product for defects and complete scrap tickets as needed.Receive and deliver materials or product from or to other departments/areas.Perform any other duties related in nature that may be assigned by the supervisor.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:High School Diploma or equivalency required.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
