Elementary Special Education Teacher - 2026-2027 School Year

Woodland Elementary School Teacher We are a small school in Osage County. We have a very small special education caseload in PK-5th grade. Each classroom has a new interactive board, teacher computers, and Chromebooks. A very family oriented atmosphere. Duties: - Create and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives - Provide instruction in various subjects, including Math, English, Science, and Social Studies - Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive and productive learning environment - Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and administrators - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement strategies for student success - Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to support students with special needs - Utilize library services to enhance student learning experiences - Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and upcoming events Woodland School Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field - Valid teaching certification or license - Experience working with elementary school students - Knowledge of early intervention strategies for academic and behavioral challenges - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Proficient in proofreading and editing educational materials - Familiarity with preschool curriculum and instructional methods We offer competitive salary and benefits packages.
