We are a control systems integrator hiring an electrical control panel builder in our Cromwell, CT panel shop.
Role and Responsibilities
Interpret electrical schematics and panel assembly drawings to lay out and wire control panels during fabrication.
Mount components to back panels and enclosures.
Point to point wiring of subpanel assemblies containing relays, PLC I/O, terminal blocks and fusing.
Perform electrical troubleshooting to eliminate wiring errors.
Maintain red line drawing mark-ups of changes required during fabrication.
Occasional travel to job sites for installation will be required.
Gain working knowledge of UL508 Industrial Control Panel standard.
Observe safe work practices while carrying out job tasks.
Perform warehouse shipping and receiving duties.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates with experience as a panel builder or controls systems technician are preferred.
Knowledge of electrical theory and ability to interpret schematics are required.
High standards of quality and attention to detail are required for this position.
High school diploma.
Technical school training is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
