DevOps Engineer

Tier 4 Group is seeking a Senior AWS System Administrator/DevOps Engineer to support and modernize a mission-critical healthcare application environment. This role combines hands-on infrastructure support with cloud transformation initiatives, including rebuilding legacy applications into a scalable, cloud-native AWS architecture.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch)Manage RHEL servers and WebLogic environmentsSupport Java/J2EE applications and Oracle RDSAutomate operational processes using Shell and Python scriptingImplement CI/CD and containerization best practicesLead POC efforts for application modernization, including WebLogic-to-JBoss and Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration initiativesRequirements15+ years of System Administration and/or DevOps experienceStrong AWS, RHEL, WebLogic, and Oracle expertiseExperience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and automationHands-on containerization experienceStrong collaboration and problem-solving skillsHealthcare or regulated-industry experience is a plusIf you're passionate about AWS, enterprise systems, and cloud modernization, we'd love to connect to discuss full details.
