Multi Site EHS Manager III

Our Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team drives safety and efficiency, and we’re seeking a dynamic WHS Manager to lead a comprehensive safety program that touches thousands of lives. You'll work at the intersection of operations and safety to shape the future of workplace health and deliver real-time solutions that protect our people.
Responsibilities Lead the Global WHS Program with precision and passion, partnering with Operations leadership to weave safety into daily operations.
Use data-driven insights to create innovative solutions that reduce risk and enhance productivity.
Build trust, influence change, and drive results through comprehensive risk assessments and transforming safety data into actionable strategies.
Lead and develop a high-performing team of WHS professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Oversee incident management and investigations, conduct business reviews and leadership meetings, manage staff development and training, monitor safety assessments and compliance, oversee emergency preparedness, and maintain stakeholder relationships.
Drive regular site inspections, performance monitoring, and implementation of safety initiatives to ensure safety oversight and compliance.
Support sites and WHS staff across North American regions to drive safety excellence and compliance across the network.
This position requires the flexibility to travel 50-70% of the time and work various shifts.
Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations
5+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management
Distribution Center or Manufacturing WHS experience with a mix of exempt and non-exempt employees at a site of at least 250 people
Master’s degree
Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment
Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic organization
Certified Safety Professional
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with site leaders
Ability to develop and implement department goals and strategies
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability
Ability to manage multiple sites remotely
First Aid, CPR, AED certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) or obtain within 3 weeks of start date
Travel & Physical Requirements Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
Work in environments with varying noise levels and temperatures, including outside loading areas
Continuously climb and descend stairs (where applicable)
Maintain effective care delivery in emergencies and assist emergency response at the site
