Digital Android Engineer

Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of professional experience building native Android applications end to end. Expertise in Kotlin and modern Android architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture. Deep knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle, including multi-module build optimization. Production experience with Jetpack, including Jetpack Compose for declarative UI at scale. Proven ability to diagnose and resolve memory, rendering, and battery performance issues. History of shipping or maintaining at least one application on Google Play with accountability for release quality. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills: Experience leading technical decisions and influencing cross-functional engineering teams. Familiarity with Agile and waterfall delivery models in large-scale environments. Background in regulated industries, preferably financial services, with focus on security and compliance.
