AMDA offers various pathways for students to receive unparalleled performing arts education taught by world-class industry professionals, including Professional Conservatory Certificates as well as undergraduate and graduate degrees (Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Arts, Associate of Occupational Studies, Master of Fine Arts and Master of Arts).Commitment to being an Orientation Leader is vital to creating a strong and successful experience for the AMDA incoming students.Primary ResponsibilitiesTracking students' attendance on Zoom and in-personTracking progress on Canvas to make sure all assignments are completedEncouraging students to attend all seminars and activitiesBe a liaison between the Orientation Team and the studentsHelp guide students through their online and in-person OrientationWeekly Meetings with incoming students and the Orientation TeamAttending Orientation seminars and sessions to support the incoming studentsAssist Orientation Coordinator in setting up and breaking down roomsAssist in bag and folder preparation for Orientation check-inQualificationsMust be in good standing with the school as an AlumMust be able to lift 30lbsMust be able to be on your feet for 8–10 hourKnowledge of working with a tabletKnowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelPosition InformationThe pay for this position is $17 hourlyWill need to wear black pants for all orientationThe required date for this role is from February 6th - 27thVirtual: Wednesday 3rd - 12thIn-person: June 13th - 26thThe dates provided are when availability is required.
