We host events throughout the year, as well as events for employees and their families.Our ProductsBlue Buffalo dry dog and cat food.What Your Day Will Look LikeCreating high quality foods that are eaten EVERYDAY, NATIONWIDEUsing TECHNOLOGY in an industry-leading facilityWorking with HIGH-LEVEL operators on EXPERIENCED teams that are looking to pass down their knowledge to workers WILLING TO LEARN and get paid doing itCHALLENGING yourself to get the JOB DONE RIGHT and gain skills to take with you to your next opportunityInstalling, maintaining, repairing, and replacing industrial processing and packaging machinery, work tools and equipmentIdentifying and troubleshooting mechanical issuesProviding technical support and plant leadership for equipment troubleshooting and equipment modificationsDesign and layout circuits, installing fixtures, wiring conduits, motors, and other electrical equipment/components, including proven ability to use multimeterPerforming/assisting with sheet metal fabrication; performing mig, tig, arc weldingPerforming both uptime and down time preventative maintenanceUnderstanding, initiating, and participating in Root Cause Analysis (Why, Why)Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performanceAssist in training new employeesWhat You Have To OfferMinimum of a high school diploma or GEDMinimum 3 years of industrial maintenance or related industry experienceBasic mechanical knowledge and understanding of PLC operation, electrical motors, gearbox and components along with systems troubleshooting, including use of a multimeter and specialized toolsExperience in repairing and troubleshooting AC/DC electrical systems, reading schematics and using electrical testing equipment strongly preferredBasic shop equipment (mill, lathe, grinder, presses, etc.) preferredExperience in a manufacturing/production environment preferredPhysical RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbsMust be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfacesAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platformsAbility to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when requiredWilling and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environmentAbility to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditionsWilling to work around industrial high-speed moving machineryAbility to work with allergens that might be present in a food environmentAbility to work in a tobacco free environment
