Extended School Year Speech TherapistOne (1) speech therapistDescription-Program provides support for speech and language specific goals for students K-12. PA Certification as a School Speech and Language Pathologist (PK-12) required. The program runs June 29-July 30 every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30AM-12:00PM for students and 8:15AM-12:15PM for staff. Compensation will be TBD per the PGEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.Duties Include:Provide direct speech and language services to students during the course of the ESY program per individual student IEP.Complete ongoing weekly progress monitoring data toward IEP goalsCommunicate ongoing with families regarding speech activities and students' progressSupport staff in the implementation and use of any AAC for students.Implement student positive behavior support plans.Complete end of ESY report of maintenance sheets that will be shared with families and teachers for the coming school year.Support the adaptive/functional needs of students.Participate in any trainings to support student needsProgram Information:Set-up days and hours: 6 hours prior to ESY start dateClose-up days and hours: 6 hours post ESY end date
