We are seeking candidates for Production Support Associate roles on a variety of shifts. Compensation for these contract opportunities ranges between $18.00-$23.00 per hour, depending on shift. What you will do as a Production Support Associate:Exhibit active leadership to model and support the company's vision and strategies Promote and support a safe work environment and safety-oriented culture by following all safety programs and guidelines Set up and run equipment safely and efficiently to maximize output while meeting customer quality requirements Review manufacturing orders to verify internal and external customer specifications Ensure all quality practices are being followed Perform inspections of aluminum extrusion orders before they enter the aging oven Check the hardness and temper of each alloy Package orders based on customer specifications Load trailers based on customer specifications Meet delivery schedules to ensure customer service and satisfaction Monitor and make correct process changes for packing the product or changing rates Provide suggestions and continuous improvement ideas to help improve processes and procedures Distribute baskets to and from extrusion press lines Keep work area clean and orderly using the 5S system (standardize, sustain, sort, set in order, and shine) What you need to be a Production Support Associate:High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ years of manufacturing or production experience preferred Strong safety awareness and adherence to protocols Ability to read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications Skilled in using inspection and measuring tools Strong math, computer, and documentation skills Ability to identify product defects and make necessary adjustments Self-starter with strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to participate in ongoing training, including Extrusion 101 #AlexandriaProductionJobs Don't miss out on this opportunity!
