We operate along a core set of values that set us apart in how we work and who is a great fit for our team: service, entrepreneurship, and joy.JOB DESCRIPTIONFANgineers play a vital role in the success of the hospitality program and game days - they help engineer a great experience by providing the highest level of hospitality for our fans in the premium seating areas on game day. FANgineers serve as goodwill ambassadors to donors and their guests while maintaining the operational policies in place for all premium seating areas. FANgineers also serve as a liaison between donors, caterers, maintenance staff, custodial staff, Hospitality Managers, and Athletic Department personnel.DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESPrimary duties to include, but not limited to the following:Act as game day ambassadors for the Hospitality Office and Athletics Department.Perform G.O.L.D. Standard Service for all guests, fans, and department staff.Ensure all game day policies and procedures are being upheld.Monitor entrances, review tickets, and be aware of access control protocols.Perform pre-, during-, and post-game duties associated with the premium areas (i.e., fulfilling requests, disposing trash, monitoring facility needs and food & beverage needs, etc.)Other duties as assigned.AVAILABILITY and OPPORTUNITIESMust be available to work both Savannah Banana games being held at UNC's Kenan Memorial Stadium on April 11 and 12, 2026.FANgineers are hourly employees. Hours will range between 6-14 hours per home game week depending on the game schedule and game preparation needs each week.FANgineers are expected to work the entire game day shift, which typically begins 90 minutes before stadium gates open and ends approximately 40 minutes post-game.An opportunity will be available to work on Friday, April 10, 2026, to help with set-up.Along with the Savannah Bananas games, gain the opportunity (with a positive supervisor evaluation) to work additional athletic events, such as UNC football, basketball, and baseball games.
