Litigation Paralegal

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Litigation Paralegal opportunity with an established Fort Lauderdale, FL Law Firm. This position will support 3–5 attorneys handling litigation matters related to Construction Law, Business Transactions, Land Use & Zoning, and Government Law. This is a hybrid, direct-hire permanent position, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.The Litigation Paralegal is responsible for below specific duties.Your specific duties will include:Draft legal documents, including discovery, pleadings, and motions.Manage attorneys' calendars and schedules.Conduct legal research and maintain client files.Manage case deadlines, ensure timely filing of documents, and track case progress.Assist with trial preparation.Perform e-filing of legal documents. Required qualifications for the position include:Excellent communication skills with clients, attorneys, and staff.Excellent writing skills.Understanding of legal terminology, court rules, and procedures.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and legal software.Familiarity with legal research databases such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred qualifications for the position include:Experience with Construction Law, Land & Zoning, and Government is a plus. Salary Range - $55000 - $80000Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
