Overview
Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health, the Substance Use Disorder Counselor (CASAC-T/P) will work on a Full-Time basis providing orientation, assessments, counseling and more to patients at our Fulton County Comprehensive Outpatient Program. Schedules Available: Monday through Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm OR 8:00am - 4:30pm. In addition to Helio Health's comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time hires for this position are eligible for a Sign-On Incentive up to $1,500! Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
Maintain a case load of patients seeking treatment from the effects of substance use and/or mental health disorders. Perform essential counseling responsibilities including screening, intake and orientation, assessment, evaluation and intervention, treatment planning, referrals, crisis intervention, counseling, patient education, case management, reporting and record keeping. Participate in program, administrative and clinical committees as assigned. Relate effectively with staff, clients, and community while upholding confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED and CASAC-T required OR CASAC-P. One year counseling/human services experience preferred. Equivalent alternative combination of education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirements. Knowledge of addiction/recovery, behavioral health, self-help group process and principles of counseling. Proficiency with basic computer applications.
