Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing guests with a welcoming breakfast experience, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary and customer service skills within a dynamic team.
Duties
Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards
Set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are stocked, fresh, and appealing
Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas, dining spaces, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist with food handling, portioning, and basic cooking tasks as needed
Greet guests warmly and provide excellent guest services throughout their dining experience
Manage food and beverage service using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
Buss tables, clear dishes, and assist with cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards
Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns
Follow proper food safety procedures including dietary accommodations and allergy awareness
Support catering or banquet setups when required, including meal preparation and presentation
Skills
Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments preferred
Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety protocols
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage courteously with guests and team members
Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail
Customer service-oriented mindset with guest relations skills
Basic culinary skills including knife handling, meal preparation, and coffee or beverage service (Barista experience is a plus)
Experience with cleaning duties such as bussing tables and maintaining sanitation standards
Knowledge of dietary accommodations and food safety regulations
Professional appearance with excellent phone etiquette and hospitality skills
