What We Need YOU To DoWe are looking for a motivated person with a passion for the environment to join our Division of Materials and Waste Management (DMWM), a nationally recognized leader in traditional and innovative waste materials management, at our Southwest District Office in Dayton, Ohio.Interested in traveling around Ohio to protect our environment?In this position, you’ll ensure Ohio’s waste management facilities are constructed and operated in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. This includes traveling to waste disposal sites to conduct compliance inspections and investigate complaints. In cases where enforcement is necessary, you’ll develop strategies for bringing facilities back into compliance.When not in the field, you’ll review technical documents and prepare reports pertaining to existing and proposed DMWM facilities.
