We have the broadest selection of capacitor technologies in the industry, including an expanding range of electromechanical devices and electromagnetic compatibility solutions.The Production Supervisor at KEMET Electronics Tantalum Innovation Center in Simpsonville, SC plays a key role in supporting efficient and safe manufacturing operations. This position ensures team alignment with company standards and production goals while fostering collaboration across departments to maintain high performance and product quality. This shift works two 12-hour shifts over the weekend as well as one 8-hour weekday shift. Training will be on the 1st shift (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am 4:30 pm).Key Responsibilities:Support manufacturing operations including but not limited to ensuring safety protocols are followed, adherence to company policies, communicating goals and objectives to the team, and setting priorities accordinglyPeriodic interaction with process engineering, quality, production control & managementMonitor and measure production output vs. target, report dailyCounsels employees on how to achieve an optimal output or workflowResolves issues and disputes between manufacturing employeesStandard administrative duties including payroll and inventory countsRequired Qualifications:Degree in technical field or applicable experience5+ years of related experiencePrevious supervisory experience of hourly and non-exempt employeesExperience with lean manufacturing and OEE a strong plusWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.Demonstrated ability to identify defects and abnormalities and correct as necessaryExcellent attention to detail and good organizational skillsExcellent teamwork skills demonstrated through a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a driven sense of urgency in completing tasks and projectsThis position remains a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of timeLocation & Work Type:Simpsonville, SC - United StatesFull-timeYAGEO does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, ethnicity or national origin, disability, pregnancy, religion, political affiliation, union membership, protected veteran status, protected genetic information, marital status or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local law, in making employment decisions including but not limited to hiring, wages, promotions, rewards, and access to training.
