Location: Warren, Ohio (Kimberly-Clark Project)Job Type: Full-time, Project BasedPosition SummaryVEC, Inc. is seeking a qualified and motivated EHS Coordinator to support construction activities on the Kimberly-Clark Project in Warren, Ohio. The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with company, client, and regulatory safety requirements, and providing daily safety oversite for the project personnel and subcontractors.Essential ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary on-site safety representative for VEC, Inc.Promote and reinforce a positive safety culture across all project activities.Conduct daily site safety inspections/walksLead safety new hire orientation for new employeesFacilitate daily pre-task/JSA planning and toolbox talks.Verify compliance with OSHA regulations, site-specific safety requirements, and VEC safety policies.Assist supervisors and craft personnel with hazard identification and mitigation strategies.Conduct incident investigationsMaintain project safety documentation and recordsCoordinate closely with project management, field supervision, subcontractors, and client representatives.Participate in client safety meetings and project coordination meetings.QualificationsMinimum of 2-5 years of construction experience, but not requiredOSHA 30-Hour Certification, or working towards itStrong working knowledge of OSHA standards and regulationsProficient in computer skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to walk jobsites for extended periods of timeability to climb ladders, stairs, and access elevated work areasability to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times on site
