Job Description Locum OBGYN Opportunity Near Daisytown, PAWe are seeking a locum OBGYN to begin as soon as possible for an ongoing position located near Daisytown, PA. A Pennsylvania medical license is preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 24-hour call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM.Collaborate with a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) who will handle first call.Work primarily in an inpatient setting.Utilize a beeper system for call management.Demonstrate proficiency in the following specialty skills:Low and high-risk pregnancy managementFetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)OB ultrasounds, including performance and interpretation of Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic)AmniocentesisVaginal deliveries and low forceps assistanceDecision-making for cesarean sectionsManagement of complicated deliveries (including C-sections, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs)Repair of third and fourth-degree lacerationsMinor gynecological procedures (IUD insertion, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)Open and laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures (tubal ligation, LOA's, chromopertubation)Operative/major procedures (including diagnostic) such as ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA'sLaser certificationRoutine deliveries and surgical gynecologyAverage annual deliveries: 1,590.Completion of a fellowship is required.Certifications needed: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS.Must be licensed in Pennsylvania or hold an IMLC.Experience in a Level 1 Trauma center is essential.Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Epic.Credentialing process takes approximately 14 days.Compensation and BenefitsReceive a $2,000 referral bonus for any referral who completes 160 hours of work.Competitive rates for weeknight call, with a premium for being called in.Weekend call is compensated at a rate equivalent to 6 regular hours per day when called in.Attractive hourly pay, along with housing, car rental, gas, mileage (for personal vehicle use only), parking, tolls, and baggage fees.Comprehensive malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.We look forward to receiving your resume and discussing this exciting opportunity with you!
